We (9 adults and 1 toddler) stayed at Sunset Ridge 9/6-9/13. Much more than we expected. Beautiful home - very clean and accommodating. Well stocked with towels. Loved the heated pool and hot tub. We highly recommend this location. The price was very fair.

OMG… Sunset Ridge is absolutely amazing! So beautiful, clean and accommodating! The heated pool was so “usable” given the chilly mornings! There was a lot to do in the area. Visiting the alpaca farm was definitely a highlight. We totally recommend this location!!!

Our family recently stayed at Sunset Ridge. The house was beautiful and easily accommodated 7 adults and 5 children. Everyone in our group had a wonderful time from. There were lots of things to do at the property including kayaking, paddle boarding, and relaxing in the lake and pool. We plan to return next year!

Sunset Ridge was Fabulous! We take our family of 13 on a family vacation every year and this year was extra fun!!! The house was wonderful and accommodated all of us comfortably! Kitchen was well stocked and worked great with many hands in the kitchen! There is a 2nd large refrigerator downstairs that helped with our food storage overflow. The bedroom arrangements worked perfectly for our adult kids and our grandchildren. Paddle boats and kayak were used every day. The pool was refreshing in the extreme heat. Was able to safely dock a pontoon and then 2 jet skis at the boat dock. Food Lion, gas and Bridgewater Marina and Plaza were about 2 miles away. Moneta area had a lot of things to offer but we chose to take advantage of all the fun water sports on Smith Mountain Lake. Maintenance responded very quickly when needed. Great House! Great Location! Great Vacation! Highly Recommend! :-)
Family Vacation of 19
This house checked all the boxes for us. We had our family of infants to seniors enjoy this home.
Great family house
We rented this house the house next door--which is identical--for our annual Memorial Day family gathering. Guests ranged from babies to baby boomers and the house could not have been more perfect. The kitchen is well-equipped with cookware and serving pieces and the appliances worked well. For meals, all the folks from next door came over to our house and there was no problem with everyone having a seat at a table. There are so many spaces for relaxing and gathering. For recreation, you cannot beat the dock, SUPs, kayaks, heated pool, and hot tub. Many of us loved sitting around the fire pit. We enjoyed the house so much (and the one next door), that we've already reserved it for next year.
Precious family memories
This home is a lovely place to take the entire family! Even in the chilliness of mid October, our grandchildren, used the heated pool and enjoyed fishing off the dock. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen easily accommodated family meals.
25th Annual Girls Weekend
Sunset Ridge was an ideal house for our group of 12 women! We all had plenty of space but could also sit around the kitchen table to eat or play cards. Hurricane Helene came through and knocked out power for an entire day so we made use of the SUPs & shuffleboard table and grilled our dinner. So much space, everything was clean, having a pool was awesome, and the lake view was nice. I highly recommend Sunset Ridge for a family / large group getaway!
